This Cornbread is sweet & delicious.
If you love southern food, then you will love this recipe. The honey in the recipe makes it just a wee bit sweet. I also love how much it makes. Great for a crowd or left overs. Enjoy!

Best Cornbread Hands Down!
1 cup of cornmeal3 cups of all purpose Flour1 cup sugar2 tblsp baking powder1 tsp salt2/3 cup canola oil1/3 cup butter melted2 tbsp honey4 eggs2 /12 cups of milk
Ingredients
- 1 cup of cornmeal
- 3 cups of all purpose Flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tblsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup canola oil
- 1/3 cup butter melted
- 2 tbsp honey
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups of milk
Instructions
- Grease 9×13 dish. Preheat oven to 350′ Place dry ingredients in mixing bowl. Mix together well. In separate bow, combine eggs, oil, melted butter, honey and milk. Add wet ingredients to the dry, just until moistened. Pour the batter into 9×13 and place in oven for 45-50 minutes. Cover foil loosely the last 10 minutes if getting too browned. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
